    Hello,

    I have a blog, and I have worked a lot on it to optimize SEO.
    Now I want to update it and change it's theme but I want to know at first, if changing the theme of my blog of WordPress will affect SEO. It worries me to lose all what I did for it.

    Hi,

    Generally speaking, well designed wordpress themes basing on DIV+CSS technique would not affect your SEO efforts since they would not touch the page contents.

    if u have maintained your blog's contents and backlink, then it doesn't effect much. u can change ur theme.

    Changing your THEME will never-ever affect your SEO. Google works on link-structure and not on designs.

    see if you have outgoing links in your footer. alsoo some themes load faster hence are seo friendly.

    All things depends on what kind of theme you choose. Try to view the theme completely along with its links and whole structure. If that is prefect then no need to worry for loosing rankings.
    And even if you change the theme just adjust the css and all according to your previous design.
