Are Social Bookmarking backlinks beneficial to a PR2 site ?

Hi,

My site has a PR2 currently. I initially did bookmarking to around 100 sites when my site was launched. Will regular social bookmarking backlinks provide any benefits to my site in terms of increasing the Pagerank ?

Any backlinks are helpful but make sure you try to get authority backlinks as much as possible. Especially expert sites if possible.

1. Produce link-worthy content.
2. Write guest posts on authority sites

If you can't do 1 or 2, you'll need to buy quality links.

Social bookmarks, article directory links, blog comments, forum sigs etc. are not quality links, although they can help your rankings.

 

simpseo has it right. Try to create content people will want to link to. Top 10 lists and such are very popular and end up on digg all of the time.

Also, guest blogging. Bloggers love to have people guest blog because they get a day off from writing lol.

 

There is no such thing as a PR2 Site. Page Rank ranks Pages. Read it again. Pages are not sites.

Page Rank = Ranking of Pages.

 

social bookmarking backlinks should give you benefit, but too much will cause you the problem. So, be wise using your social bookmark

 

if the backlinks are quality it's beneficial to your site,but not only the Social Bookmarking
