Some of my sites are showing big changes of SERP, could it be a sign of PR update

I have one site usually has one 10 pageviews perday, went to 100 PV yesterday.

PR may base on backlinkz, so it might because your backlinkz changed.

Usually it happens when some of backlinkz sites are maintaining or site down. Or their ISP down temporary.

Did you notice serp change yourself... as the increase in page views can also be due to sudden increase in the search of your particular keyword too. I doubt the change would be due to any PR update possibility.

If you are tracking via Google Webmaster Tools you should noticed the link updating already. Google just updated their link on August 18, 2010 anyway and it would caused a huge effect, could be either positive or negative either.

    Hi,

In my own experiences, page views would not stand for IP. You need to see if the independent IPs have really increased. Also, SERP fluctuation would not have relations with PR update, IMO.

    thanks,

The SERPS are changing pretty much constantly as far as I can see, so it may be one of your search terms has a big jump in position - do you have a stats package to tell you where the extra visitors are coming from?

Constantly changing always up and down. Sometimes they throw you for a loop though.

It would be due to increase of any of your keyword serp. Because I don't think so that PR will increase your page views.

SERP changes, even big changes happened all the time. I do not think its a sign for PR updates.

I think it's not the indication of PR update, SERPs ranking fluctuations may be by many reasons. I am also waiting for PR updation, as it is not happened still. I have seen just a fraction updation for PR on some site, I have noticed. But I have not realised or notice the complete PR updation as per the process till now.
