How to take backup

    Hi,

    My host does not have the option to backup data in control panel. I use a Wordpress blog and I want to have a backup done.... can anyone help me how can it be done :confused:

    I would personally never use a host that didn't do automated backups for me. Too many blogs... too much of a waste of time.

    however you might search the WordPress Plugins and see if there is one that suits your needs. That's where I would start.

    If your blog means anything to you at all you would be well served finding a new host.

    Do you have access to phpmyadmin? If so, you can make the backups yourself. Or if you have ftp access, install mysqldumper. It can be used for both, backups and restore.

    There are plenty of wordpress plugin to backup the database manually or automatically .... search for wordpress database backup plugin in google ... u will get one for sure .... if u cant let me know i will find the plugin for you ...

    Install WP-DBManager, i use it for all my blogs, excellent and handy tool,
    you can schedule the period to automatic backup, and send to your email address.

    install idrive plugin to backup the whole website both files and database... they will give 2 GB of free space...
