Today i download a file from Fileserve and notice that the download page shown with my language. Am i out-dated to notice this ? i don't see any news stating this new function.
anyway great work from Fileserve and I'm looking forward to more new features of FileServe. :]

 

hay Ricky, I want to upgrade my acc but I do not have paypal. Can I use webmoney to upgrade ? Can you give me Y!m of one of FS's staff who can upgrade my acc ?

Today i tested to see how much downloads were shaved. I uploaded 1 file of size about 240mb and watched how many it got downloaded. When i looked at how many it was downloaded in the my file section and compared to the statistics report was different. In the my file section it showed it was downloaded 84 times, but in the statistics section it says the a file size in 200mb< was downloaded only 60 times. Is the stats delayed or is it shaved and miscounted?

 

@ bingos: You think? Guess again. Several members in here can vouch that we do make changes and updates.

@ eureka7: Neither. What you're looking at is non-unique downloads vs. unique downloads. Non-unique will include attempts, fails, completes and Premiums, while unique will only be, fully completed downloads.

 

ah thank you for the quick reply. So the one shown in the statistic is the fully completed downloads, also mean unique download. while in my my file downloads are non-unique. Also if people with premiums download the file completely does the count show up in the statistic? or is it counted as non unique and is not included? thanks

 

@ eureka7: Yes. You're not the first to misunderstand this, so we may replace those figures with some imagery that can get people to see whether their files are hot or not. Will eradicate this misunderstanding.

I'm pretty sure that if a Premium completes or attempts 10x on the same file it will be recorded. Not to worry about Premiums as ~1% of all user downloads are such and the vast majority (d'oh) is Free user. 1 Premium account will count as "1" unique download in your statistics earnings.
