agreed because you can make the same exact theme fit across all 3 CMS's But i think wordpress is much easier on the backend for your every day user.

Ignore the naysayers - i've been installing wordpress as a CMS on all my sites (even the ones without blogs) for years with great success. Seriously, Bluestar: stop pretending you know what you are talking about. Wordpress is AWESOME at SEO and as it is open source can be anything you want it to be. It can even be effectively used as a CMS for ecommerce sites

Joomla is WAY too complicated for the average client to figure out.

one great plugin if you dont have a blog as part of your site is wp-cms

another must have plugin is "fluency admin" which will let you brand wordpress for your client

Seattle, thanks for your contribution...I have never used either of the plugins suggested, but will look into them! They look perfect for a project I am working on right now...

This is what Wordpress themselves say about their "platform" and managment of information (content) : LINK

"Since you would basically have to hire someone to modify WordPress to this extent"

yep - that is where professional web designers such as myself come in. Except I have all that work already done in a ready to go modified installation so setting it up doesnt take me any more work than it would take to install Drupal, Joomla or any other CMS. the main difference being, Wordpress is within the grasp of the average computer user without the help of a prof developer

and the opinion of one dude on a forum who pitches in on a huge open source project is hardly damning evidence
