Backlinks !!!

i need to know that i have done more then 200 directory submissions and almost 70 directories are approved ... totally i have 135 links with my site ... but i cannot see even a single directory in those back links which is approved ...... what to do ?? help me please

 

check your backlinks from google webmasters not google search

 

i know but i wanna know that why my all back links are now showing up in back links although those sites have my site in their links

 

There is no guarantee that they will show up or displayed. Even WMT's, Google discloses that it isn't always going to show you all of your links. Depending of the quality and time of submissions, it may take awhile for most links to show up. The truth is, you have to go off of how many submissions YOU did because proving it through the actual links in the index isn't going to work well for you.

 

Google never shows all back links. It shows only quality and high PR back links.

 

use yahoo to look at backlinks they will give you a more comprehensive result: https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com

 

It will take time for backlinks to show up as well, especially if these are low PR sites.

 

do not stress over backlinks, critically analyse the serps for your kw and check the quality of the content, then investigate if these pages have good onpage elements, use the authority of sights such as wordpress to drive traffic to your site and look at what is in the SERPS if there are no news items create some news, if there are no blog entries create blog entries.

remember not all links are equal and you are far better off with one way links than 2 way links..

 

For some time now, most of the link directories are not accountable from google. Bing and yahoo count them though. Yahoo is most keen to directory submissions.

They won't help you rank on google.

 

If you are pertaining to the result of number of backlinks from the search query "link:www.domain.com", you will not see all your backlinks then. Check all your backlinks at Google Webmaster Tools.

I agree with you guys...that a backlinks will show....because it only the quality and PR back links.

Have you checked those 135 links are indexed or not? I hope those 135 links are not indexed, if its indexed it should count as backlinks. Check the quality of site before you are going to submit.

 

google webmaster tool is best of all no need to worry i won't skip your single back link.

Backlinks are very important for getting quality traffic.

 

Better check your back link using yahoo, Google take time to catch back link where yahoo cahtch it soon. But it's also true it's not necesarry that all of yoru link will be visable

 

Google will not show all the backlinks so you can yahoo site explorer.

but i need to know that different sites show me different results of my back links ... em confused .. what to do ??? tell me just one or two links which show the accurate results

 

Yes it is obvious that different tools show different number of back links. This is because each search engine bot has different capabilities and the results you see is bounded by the constrain of their crawling capabilities and indexation choices.
If you want two or three links which give the most accurate results then I suggest you try. SEOmoz opensiteexplorer and also check back link count in Google Webmasters Tools.
