If you can get quality links from diversified sources (different types of sites and pages), get as many as you can and don't worry about the speed. The problem is that quality links (relevant contextual links from trusted sites) are hard to find. I strongly suggest that you don't go for huge masses of free low-quality links such as are often recommended in forums like this (blog comments, free directories, profile links, etc.) -- these link building methods are obsolete and look spammy in the eyes of Google and other search engines. Relevant contextual links, preferably from high PR sites, are what you want (access to those is what sets SEOs apart).

 

just be careful not to build too many too fast, don't let people fool you into thinking you can't build them too fast, you can! i've done it before, all good and clean links and still got penalized...slow and steady is key

In my own experiences, number of back links every day would not be a big issue if only you could keep them at a steady-going pace. Targeting right keywords as anchor text of your back links would be more important.

Your links should be quality links. if you are not performing any spamming activities, you can collect as many links as you can. But don't get all the links from one source. try different SEO sources for links

 

Quality + revalance = the right way

 

I've seen somewhere on the post that don't make more then 20 backlink to your site a day......

 

Don't care about Quantity, care about Quality. One high page rank and stable link is better then 10 less quality links.

 

For new website, its better to focus first on doing a ONPAGE things, and dont be abusive to have a backlinks. do it natural and normal

Patience is necessary. I definitely agree that quality must be the priority before the quantity. Too much back links a day can only give you a high probability to be penalized if it is not a quality link (and even quality links are sometimes penalized eh). Go with high PR and at the same time do follow links.

 

try to get some same theme quality links dont worry about no of links

 

More techniques there for getting back links, but you can prefer to quality links only.

 

Just try getting more and more Quality Backlinks for yourself and it would work the best.

 

Don't go for quantity only do quality links.
