$ 0,01 per click? Is that normal?

Most clicks in my adsense account are valued $ 0,01 or $ 0,02. Is that normal? Do you get higher values?

 

that can happen but you maybe focus on wrong keywords.

I got the same problem. I think that it comes with the niche. We must change the niche that we are doing. I think that it is right to say tat we need to start a new niche.

 

probably you get click on link ads, which pay low!

 

I also used to have the same problem but now no more. usually it is 10 cent per click

 

I don't get clicks that earn that type of cash and if I was I'd change niches.

 

If most clicks on your sites are just $0.01, then it may mean that you need to find some other quality keywords and start some new niche sites.
$0.01 is really a low price and you must do some changes.

 

Sorry, what is "niche"? What do people here exactly mean by it?

 

Is it possible to change the keywords? Aren't they automatically selected by google? That is the way I always thought it worked. So, I believe, in order to change the keywords, one must change the content first, which, I wouldn't do, of course.

 

Niche means what are you writing on ? What is your site based on ? For Example : Tech , gadgets, movies , forex etc ?

 

So, it seems I got it right: the content. I have several websites with google ads. The most important and popular one is an English teaching site (for Turks), which has supposedly a popular content. I have been working on the latter for over a year, putting a lot of effort. So, I don't understand when people talk about changing the content. Is it so easy? Or have I got you wrong?

 

Well I understand that its not really easy to change the content . But even I get like 1-3 cents a day for my site because it has visitors from India and saudi and the niche is also games . So you know I think you have most people from turks whose click pay less . If for the same site if you were having some US or UK visitors you could get like 50 cents + for every click. The click rate just depends on Traffic and The content of the site . I have seen people getting like 20-30 $ per click for their insurance or Forex site and people also getting 1-2 cents for their gaming sites.

 

Gaming websites are paying less yes, nothing we can do about it right now.

So, I have been trying to make money by teaching Turks English, and so far it has been pointless Do you think I should start a new website teaching Turkish to English-speakers? DO you think it would work (I am sure to create good and original content)? Would it make money?

 

Here is the deal...it is all about the niche and keywords! The first niche I ever targeted got mostly $.01 and $.02 clicks. If I was lucky I would get $.15 click occasionally, but that was about it.

I moved into other higher paying niches, and the earnings per click naturally went up! Some niches simply pay more money for clicks.

In the right niches, you can make a dollar or more per click. You just have to be in the right niches. Some niches can pay $2.00 or more per click. Try out a few niches, and stick with the ones that bring you the best combination of clicks and money!
