Can you change your post name to a nickname ?

When I opened my DP account I didn't really think it through and now all my posts have my DP member name as my post name.
I'd like to use an alias/nickname in my posts, is that possible and if so how ?

 

I think you can change your name in special cases

It is your responsibility to keep the information in your profile up-to-date. You should especially ensure that your email address is kept current. You can alter any of the fields in your profile, except your username. Once you have registered your username, it becomes yours for life. In extreme circumstances, you may request that the administrator change your username, but he or she will require a very good reason to do so.

 

Post the name you want and Shawn can change it.

Search this board and you'll see that 'extreme' isn't even close to extreme!!!

I can't think of any "extreme"ly good reasons except colin_techtamed isn't very trendy compared with those of my fellow forum members !
I was thinking of something more along the lines of Automation_Man to reflect my Automation Analyst background perhaps.
