    SEO is dynamic, if you don't have a mind able to adapt and change what rules you apply, and when it is impossible. But easy and hard are not terms I would apply to it.

    from my experience seo is easy as long as you play by the rules and try not to cheat the spider. that is how most people fail is when they try too hard. just keep your techniques simple and beneficial to the user who is searching for a website like yours.
