How to get traffic from yahoo and bing?

    first submit your site to yahoo webmaster tool then try to do bookmarking , forums ,articles etc to get backlink as well traffic

    Spending less than a minute for every new post in making sure they're submitted to Yahoo & Bing as well as Google is time well spent. Sure, I spend most of my time trying to keep Google happy but covering every base is part of a healthy search strategy :)

    Maybe Lever is talking about getting your posts indexed in yahoo and bing. But i think that can be easily done if you have a good sitemap.

    No need to spend "less than a minute for every new post in making sure they're submitted to Yahoo & Bing as well as Google" - NOT AT ALL NEEDED.

    When it comes to ranking high in yahoo and bing, backlinks visible to each, are the key (just as with google)

    choose 3 different keywords for each page. Choose 3 keywords for google, yahoo and Bing because one keyword is can not common for all major SE.

    In personal experience and I have ranked several times on the first page of bing and yahoo, you don't get much traffic from them. Google have 90% of the searches over the web I thought I read somewhere :)

    Try to get the rankings on targeted search engine and then can easily get the organic traffic from targeted search engine. But if you needed the referral traffic then do smo activities aggressively.

    Yahoo: Make sure your domain name is "Keyword Rich". You can make your domain keyword rich by simply inserting hyphens to separate words in your domain name. Yahoo! gives more relevance to sites with keywords in their domain name. You can also use Yahoo Answer to get traffic from Yahoo.

    For Bing: 1. Target Keyword In Domain Name 2. Use Bing Webmaster Tools 3. Have Good and Original Content
