Which Social bookmarking site generates the most traffic?

    I use Social bookmarking sites like Reddit, Digg, Stumbleupon and Delicious. I want to concentrate only on couple of those rather than 7-8 of them to generate traffic and build a community. Which one should I go for?
    Any answers?:rolleyes:

    I think you should concentrate on digg. Digg is the most popular and it receives tons of visitors per day.

    Hey, Thanks all for sharing your insights.... Will implement your suggestions. The reason I said i will concentrate only on couple of Sites is because, I am not able to participate actively and make friends in all of them. I would rather build a large community in 2 of them.:cool:

    I believe it all depends on what type of site(s) you have (if you're trying to drive traffic to those sites from social bookmarking) and what type of traffic you're looking for.

    For instance, Digg is awesome for certain type of traffic, but not if you're in the Internet marketing niche.

    Digg is the biggest, but it is very hard to generate referral traffic from digg. I recommend Stumbleupon, which is easier to general referral traffic than digg.

    I have noticed some good amount of traffic coming from Digg and SU, but don't see much business value in traffic from SU especially

    stumble upon can send thousands is you're lucky, other than that digg is very good,especially if you make friends with your targetted audience.

    It is very important that you social Bookmark all your marketing methods at every opportunity. Whether you have time to do ten or a hundred it should be taken deadly serious. Social bookmarking sites are like gold and should be treated like it!
