Help, I want redirect my domain but I want keep the PR and backlinks.

    I have a pr3 but I don't like the domain name and I want redirect the domain to a new one,but my question is the new domain get the same PR and backlinks?

    I think all you need to do is a 301 redirect. Check out Google's webmasters section I know they discuss this there somewhere but I don't remember exactly where.

    You can do the redirect but the new domain won't automatically get the same page rank. That is if the original
    domain has page rank. You will pick up juice from the original but the PR doesn't just transfer over.

    You set up a 301 redirection or you can also add meta refresh code in old site. It will keep your site pr and backlink same.

    Yes, put permanent 301 redirection, your new domain get your old PR and backlinks but it takes time. First your SERP positions will replaced with your new domain.

    Use permanent 301 redirection. Add ur new site in Google webmaster tools, verify ur site and update ur old address to new web address in Google webmaster tools.
