Scammer alert beware: Do not deal with this guy

Hey everybody,

I have bought quite a few domains from this forum recently with no problem, however I just got scammed out of $190 USD by this guy: ilho87

DO NOT deal with this guy at all he is a con man, and will give you a Google docs, spreadhsheet that looks very convincing, but then when you paypal he takes the money and runs. He will give some story of being from Indonesia etc..blah

Just wanted to warn you guys so you ignore his threads and his PM's

thanks for the information, why don't you open a case and try to get your money back ?

 

I have contacted Paypal, and they are looking into it for me, hopefully I will get the money back.

It will also help if you post a link to his member profile here along with a negative reputation on the iTrader to warn other members around here.

 

A ban will be in place surely, anyway.

 

Sure. I'm just worried he tries to scam other folks while the ban doesn't occur.

 

I messaged on of the moderators about this, so hopefully something will be done soon.

Sorry to hear that, and this case could hurt all of us that live in indonesia.
A lot of us never doing scamming, but some people judge us like one, just because we're from indonesia..

Open a dispute aswell as phoning paypal, if the payment was sent as gift then that was really stupid of yourself. Paypal won't support virtual goods so you'll lose the money in this case if he states that or you say that.

Message to a mod with proof that you got scammed and give username of the guy who scammed you.

Oh I didn't realize DP doesn't allow this kind of thread, I genuinely got scammed so I thought I was doing the right thing by warning others.

Can you post his e-mail ID and PayPal ID publicly as well?

 

My advice is use Escrow for any transaction over $100 while dealing with members with little to no i-Traders. Scammers are everywhere...if I made payment stright away everytime I was asked for it, I'd have been scammed long time ago...Fortunately, never lost a dime on the internet(...)

For the members...I believe he's talking about this dude given his first post!
