Tell me your opinion about the .co domains?.. Is this good for SEO?.. I mean is this easy to rank?.. To get a better place in SERP's like .com domains?.. Thanks!.. (I'm planning to set up an online store in a .co domain)
Wrong. This would be the case with com/net/org, but ccTLDs are geotargeted. If you get a co domain, you'll rank well in District of Columbia, but not as well everywhere else. That's how Google plays it anyway, other search engines may not care as much. See here: http://serverstack.net/domains/44-country-tlds-need-to-stop-being-marketed-as-generic
Hi, In my own experiences, there were no difference among all domain suffixes like .com .co or .net for SEO purpose. Picking up an available domain with your targeted keywords in would be a nice choice for SEO purpose. all the best,
Yeah.. I'm still researching.. is there an official statement from Google regarding the treatment of .co as ccTLD or gTLD?..
the sufficx is not a problem if you want to target any specific location you can take according to that other wise select .com the domain name is the main thing to care about
It does matter have any one noticed any .info domain on google search result as the first result ? there might be very very few .
It affects. both have different impacts on SEO. .co.in and .com can list differently in search engines despite giving same efforts for SEO.
Just giving an example dear, dont worry and get exited. Ive three domains with .com, .co.in and .in Ive known from past that SEO efforts needed for all three are different.
IMO it would be easier to rank a standard .com/net/org tld, since .com can easily be mis-typed as .co I would think it is harder to rank a .co tld
