Which Do you Prefer Being an Affiliate or Joint Venture Partner?

Personally my views on this topic are this. First of all I am the Ceo of my own company and we put out home study courses and offer services primarily in the real estate investing niche. We also have a few how to make money online products. We launched our affiliate program a couple of months back . We offer great payouts to affiliates however I noticed that after I did joint ventures with couple of our affiliates they made a lot more money and of course I made a lot more money.

I believe the reason for this outcome was when they converted to being joint venture partners I offered them a much high share of the revenue which made them extremely motivated and my products and services became their top priority in terms of their marketing and promotions.

They had substantial email subscribers and I provided great marketing materials, I even gave them four months of sequential autoresponder messages along with banners, text ads, videos etc so that they could educate they subscribers thoroughly. This strategy produce a high conversion rate.

So the bottom line is this, for me Affiliates are great but they become greater when you enter in a joint venture agreement with them and give them a substantial share iof the revenue. So my question is this, do you prefer being an affiliate or would you prefer to be a joint venture partner?

Yes why work on your own when you can partner with others. It's all about using leverage.

Joint venture partners can be considered as affiliates on steroids.

Affiliates and Joint Venture Partners both should play a role in your business

That's why I use Joint Venture agreements where everything is spelled out in black & white. This prevents misunderstandings.

I prefer being a Affiliate if the product is great. JV is not good most of the time.

Affiliates rock and they should always exploit opportunities to make more money. If that opportunity involves becoming a joint venture partner why not considered it?

I prefer the latter. I don't want to promote biz for others. Once the affiliate partner stops the partnership and usually some of them did that, I lose all. It's really risky.

Currently, I got my own business brand through the Millionairecupid.com PL program. I got my own domain name and biz brand, while they provide the rest service for me for free. Through this program, I can earn up to $120 per day. The figure is not big for you experienced guys. But I believe things will be better when my biz brand grows up.

Joint partnerships, especially the ones with complete transparency are way to great businesses. However, it's a bit hard to get RIGHT persons as the partners and build up a nice relationship of trust. Whereas, you won't have to worry much about filtering when it comes to affiliates I think.
