What is your bounce rate ?

I always wondered what was the avrage bounce rate... Mine is 16%. Yours ?

 

16% is gud and how many visits you got per/day ??? my is 10%

Sasanchez, high bounce rate doesn't mean your website doesn't meet visitors' expectations, in fact it can be the other way around.
Just think for yourself. You're looking for an answer to your question and get the answer on the first page... you got the answer and you leave. Plain and simple.
Just think when you check the weather on the internet, you see the forecast and you leave website, at least most of us do.

Even google doesn't use Bounce Rate for ranking anymore as they understand it may be misguiding.

16% bounce rate is really nice. After all bounce rate depends on many factors. For a technology sites the bounce rate usually high compared to a wall paper/ photo graphic site. It is because user will left after he read the solution from the tech site as he don't need to check other pages. For a wall paper website, it is more interesting and user may browse to other pages. Trick is simple.

So we cannot judge any website based on bounce rate

16% bounce rate is very good because if you promote your website then bounce rate sure come. I think till 30% bounce rate is not bad.

 

Agree with praetserge. In case of blogs and new websites, bounce rate is always higher there as people come to read and exit from the same page.

and it could also mean that they enjoyed so much reading, viewing the images and videos.
i have 52% of bounce rate to most of my sites.

I have other sites but this is my free blog, so not too bad..

 

was 2,05 with less traffic, now around 1:40 with more traffic.
