Does anyone sell Facebook pages?

I am wondering if anyone sells Facebook pages?

 

Yes, There are many people who sell pages, They make pages on a particular topic, celebrity etc and once that page has many fans, They sell that !

People sell pages, people sell advertising on pages. However only one of these follows facebook's terms of service. I'm sure you don't care at all, but I still feel that you should know and having a warning about it.
Selling/buying facebook fan pages is against policy. Simply as that.

People do sell pages but the issue with pages is you can add admins but the original person with the page will still have admin rights to the page. It also isn't facebook TOS friendly. Why not just create a page and then promote it?

 

I know people sell 'statuses', i.e they get payed a couple of pence/cents per status to post on their wall/group. This is useful if the person has a lot of friends or popular groups.

 

it is better to purchase statuses than the whole page
purchasing fan pages is not considered safe as the admin rights are not fully with you

 

Yes, buying status msgs is far better than buying a page. Buying a page can be expensive, and most owners don't want to sell the page itself.

It technically is against TOS but still many people do it. It's not allowed on DP but I've seen it go on with V7N and a company call Viralee who initially focused on the sales of fan pages(They paused it for now though).

But why not create a fan page yourself and market it with fans. It cost about 0.01/fans usually or some services sell fans for 1000/$59 when you can create a fan page to your liking and market it yourself for as low as 0.0001/Fan or even free. You might want to give that some consideration

Just be very careful buying fan pages. The biggest problem is that a large number of people selling these pages have loaded them up with fake fans. So you're buying something that looks big, but when you start sending out status updates, nobody will interact with you. So whether your purpose is to entertain, inform, or monetize, you will have wasted your money.

Fan pages are a good source of advertisement... If there is the right buyer for the right page then you can make some $$$ from this pretty easily.
