    Aside from beautifying digitalpoint by getting rid of this avatar that shows my ugly cowboyhat laden pic... the top entries in this contest will be announced in a blog post on the charity site along with links to the webmasters site.

    As prizes go that might sound a bit cheap, but it's a charity. In this case I built a site, paid for the theme, hosting, urls, etc, for free. The beneficiary is the daughter of a friend, and she needs an expensive operation. She works for a bank, but she doesnt own one.

    The Contest:
    I need a new avatar to display in DP to push the charity website... www.got-marrow.org. Specs for a DP av are 80x80 pixels. I'm ruunning the same contest in a pair of forums where I moderate, so I'll run separate blog posts announcing the best entries in each forum. Contest will run for 2 weeks, then the winners will be announced and I'll replace my av with YOUR work.

    btw - Fwiw, if anyone happens to use one of the avs themself or donate a siglink to push the site, I'll gladly give 'em a link on the blogroll of the site. Just let me know if you do it. I'm aware that the pay isnt monetary... but the rewards for doing something good usually arent. Sometimes you just do stuff cause somebody needs to do it. :)

    Wow... no action after Creed sweetened the pot? (thanks for that btw)

    If I can drop a hint... it'd be nice to see someone work in the text line I have in my DP footer plus the URL. Be pretty tight fit, but I have seen it done. Then it wouldnt so much photowork , just a little color and background work. Does that help?

    It's a shame that people don't enter such contests, but instead look for the $ in the title :\ Still, I hope more people will enter this.
