Anyone In The Tattoo Niche? Best Affiliate Program?

I guess just like everything else some people can make it work and some cant. I read that someone had like 300 hops and maybe got 1 sale. As of now, July 22, 2010 I am converting at 1:68 hops for chopper tattoo. So Im making 4 sales to your 1 with same amount of traffic.

I have a review site and promote the Tattoo Me now and Tattoo Brain but i never get sales off of them. Why? because i say they are ok but not as good as Chopper. I do this because i know Chopper Tattoo converts the best and gets low refunds.

In my last 40 sales, i have yet to get a refund.

I tried PPC with this and bombed big time. i found that articles make all my sales....

Tattoowoo sucks donkey dick. I love all the adsense on the site. Ya, let me spend all my time to send a buyer to your site, then they can click on an ad the site has on the first page so the vendor can get $.10. what a joke!

 

FYI, to all you Tattoo Niche haters out there, I just got another 8 sales in the past 24 hours and i have still yet, to get a refund from all my other sales.

 

After months of resource in this niche and being a tattoo fanatic myself, I have been building quite the concept around this. It will be better, low to zero refunds, and WEB 2.0. For information PM me! Remember the faster you are with a new product the more advantages.

 

Then what do you think is really making the difference? I get a mix, I used to be converting at that rate, but over a longer period of time (a couple of years now), it averages 1:125.

not the best niche to work in I would try to find something in the self help market

 

I've been reading an ebook "Cloud Living", it says never to touch on this niche..

 

I write good articles I guess. Sell the benefits, not the features. Explain how being a member of one these tattoo sites will benefit the buyer. They dont care about features.....its the old saying "Whats in it for me".

 

I like people like you....more money for me!

 

What about tattoo equipment, the stuff the shops buy. It's pretty expensive so even though number of sales might be low the sale price is high.

Also that Wrecking Balm product, seems like a winner with so many people getting tattoos a lot are going to regret it.

 

I had some success with affiliate marketing when I tried it on some of clickbank products. But I was not able to decide how many hobs will bring the next sale for me. On some occasions, I had a sale in 10 hobs only and sometime, I did not get a single sale of 1000 hops even. All this looks a bit strange to me

 

This can happen if you change your traffic methods...find what worked to get the 1:10 hops and scale on that. Now 1:10 wont be the norm but if you can get it to 1:100 on constant basis you will make money.....

 

You will have to test and see. I love tattoos so i prmote getting them, not removing them. I seen on here that someone else did have success selling the removal products so give it a shot!

I've had the same results in this niche. Did a lot of Adwrods and targetd only Australia... Conversions of TattooMeNow were like 1:156...

Lost money on that niche, and headed off to greener pastures.

 

When i did adwords with this niche i had 36,000 impressions and 1,400 clicks. a CTR of 4%. My average CPC was about $.10. I spent $140 in adwords and made 0 slaes.

When i did article marketing i had 10 sales in one week off of 15 articles but in the past 45 days or so...the niche just took a huge dump. I still have my site up but concentrate on my other sites now.
