    Most people doing SEO have their own tactics yes. Find out what works best for you then rinse and repeat (with a few tweeks) for each of your sites. If you're banging out loads of micro niche sites for example - then you could use the same backlink sources for every site.

    one should first finish On- page optimization of websites and remove all validation errors then do off page submissions like Directory Submissions, article Submissions, blog Post etc in all high page rank.

    There are lots of tried and true methods to build links and increase rankings, however with the frequent algorithm changes, the cheesiest methods always get weakened in their efficiency.
