I'm sorry I keep linking to this blog, I'm just a little addicted. I will try to cut down http://digg.com/business_finance/Atleast_90_000_Unique_Visitors_In_30_Days
Well I dont see anything in the slightest bit useful there at the moment. I can bet its just going to be something along the lines of "blog what you know and post it around the internet", not necessarily sustainable traffic. I'll bookmark it, good luck with it anyway.
i don't think just posting stuff around the internet brings in 4,000 unique hits a day. i've tried it and at most it got me 100 uniques and a couple bans.
1) Photoshop. 2) Bunch of losers reposting links / faking being a loser and do it yourself. 3) ??? 4) $$$
i thought the same thing, but the Alexa numbers kind of match up to the Awstats, even though they are opposite types of traffic measurement.
Well maybe, but say you have a website full of original content but the only people that find it are the 3 people a day who click on your signature links. Now let's say 1 in 250 people are interested enough to share that link to their friends... That's some pretty slow growth =] Original content cannot be the only factor.
Alexa is very easy to fake. And still, who cares? What matters is how much he's pulling per day. I can too buy exit / autosurf traffic if I want a higher awstats & alexa-score.
Is that what he is doing? Is it really that hard to believe he got 4,000 targetted unique visitors after being up for only four days? That's funny because I knew of THREE blackhat tricks that could bring you 100,000 unique visitors within 24 hours. Show me some proof to backup your pessimistic claims.
Yes, it's that hard to believe. Now listen to what he says: He's asking you to bring him visitors by posting links, telling friends, and what not. Why would he do that, if he's getting 4k uniques/day after 4 days? Do you have any idea what progress is that? If he was to continue like that for a month, what traffic would he have? Why would he need you to bring traffic? Tell people? Maybe that's the whole thing, that's his way of bringing traffic, "the secret" that he'll reveal to you later. just my opinion. farewell.
Actually, the people who would be reading his blog are most likely people having difficulties getting traffic to their website, therefor asking them to post would not provide any significant amount of traffic. Also
What? Explain. I don't understand. Add what? Traffic from where? What do they have to do with each other?
I was commenting on this. I mean, when you have some traffic, you can explode it in some way in no time. Anyway.
