I can't integrate hdfc account with paypal

    Hi All,
    I had created Paypal account, while connect to bank using hdfc's debit card I got error. Is there any need to have credit card

    From what I know debit cards are rarely accepted by Paypal. So try connecting you Bank account instead of Debit card. it's easy.
    or else get a secured credit card (no income proof required ) from Axis bank.

    You can verify your indian paypal account using that hdfc bank account as well.

    AFAIK, bank account does not work to verify Indian paypal. You need a credit card issued by a bank to verify your paypal. Though you can create HDFC netsafe online VCC and verify your paypal.

    It has already been couple of months since Paypal allowed account verification through Indian bank accounts and so, there is no need to have a credit card anymore... unless of course you need to fund your paypal account with your own bank account funds.

    You can verify your account with your bank account number instead of credit card but for up the limit of your funds you must need to attach a credit card.

    Please stop giving out misleading information. You just asked in the other thread on limits and here you have started given advice

    The limits are lifted once the verification is done via a bank account.
