    This is really sad..

    At least 1 week's notice should be there instead of 1 day. We can't even risk electronic withdrawal now..MY Money is stuck in THEIR system...

    Btw, has any1 tried making purchase or sending money? I mean that scary line in the bottom which says money can't be reused, is it true? Because if it is, then we are so much screwed. Please, someone tell me if I can still send money or purchase using it.

    I think I Was the first victim to this scratch .....

    It was on 20th july... i usually withdraw 156$ every 3-4 days and on 20th july my withdrawal was been refunded to my pp account with deduction of 5$ fee with the reason that check your bank details .... ( i was regularly withdrawing but never ever this happened )
    i than called my bank and confirmed all the details like ifac code etc and there was'nt any problem,i than mailed paypal regarding this issue,they just apology saying that check your bank details...
    I searched here in dp that was there any one who faced such problem like me..and i also thought to start a thread regarding this but alas this morning my that issue got turned to all of the indian paypal users ...

    after that again on 26th jully i withdraw all my funds and i hope they reach my account (the status of it on my paypal account is showing completed ) ...

    After All what is the option next !!!!

    and its really very annoying to put all the balance in paypal coz we cannot use that fund here locally where we live !!
    and i have no idea regarding the check system !!

    I want to withdraw money today so should I do it from electric transfer if I do it today only? because update will be done after 29th July.

    Yes and I am sure they will also put hold all withdrawal request which anyone make today as they will stop NEFT tomorrow means no Bank Transfer to people who ask money today itself.

    would the withdrawals made on monday and tuesday be deposited into our bank? Or would they be credited back into our accounts like last time, after reducting currency conversion charges and stuff.

    I don't think there is a way to track because unlike adsense this time the check is delivered through Indian postal service which is very worse as per as I experienced.

    10 days back, I sent 1 registered post & 1 speed post within India and it is still not delivered. Now you can imagine their service.

    I will be really happy if 15 days,some times it takes 15 days and some times it take 45 days and some times it get lost!

    but I guess this will be only option now,paypal will make it little fast.

    On a side not If they can physically handover cheques I will be happy to visit Singapore or Chennai every month to collect my cheques.

    If 10 unemployed freelancers visits RBI in your city and block it from functioning for 1 day
    The stupid RBI employees are good are harrassing people trying to make their living online whereas allowing politicians , ministers to stash billions in tax havens.

    Please unite and visit RBI and ask them what is the issue if people are earning their living online , you catch anyone who earns more than 2 lakh from abroad , just limit the amount or
    TAX all such transactions at source but do not play with lives of millions of freelancers.
