PayPal temporarily suspends electronic withdrawal in India, only cheque/check

Yesterday i see in news that RBI chief increasing interest rates for new home loans, car loans etc.

The reason he says is weaker monsoon last year, increase in price of essential commodities etc. The life of common Indian is becoming hell becoz of these and now he is creating another problem.

The agriculture minister is responsible for all grains lost in floods, he is president of BCCI, does this fat bull, has any idea of how people are suffering with his slow attitude.

One more scam in India, that some Bihar minister is involved in Rs.11,500 crore scam, he is not arrested, his online accounts are not stopped and he security is increased.

Indian Government and RBI has no backbone strength, they just push their problems on common Indian man, who cannot raise any voice. Shame....

 

As for the withdrawal before 29th, I'll advice to play safe rather than take any risk. Last time all such money got jammed for around 1 month. Cheque is less secured in post but reaches in around 2-3 weeks for sure. So better to keep those funds with paypal for the time being or go for cheque withdrawal after few days. Just wait and watch.

We, Indians are already deprived of any payment facility from our Paypal a/c and now sensing some new issue(s) to crop up.

But good to see a notice this time by paypal regarding the unavailability of electronic fund transfer from particular date onwards.

 

Now thats another bouncer by paypal, thats a very sad thing that we are facing such a problem, now it will take 25 days to withdraw payment. THey are saying from 1st august , i want to know if we withdraw today then can we withdraw in the bank?

 

i withdrew 2 days back lets see if thats successfull atleast.

Paypal should send the check faster using speed post method may be for an additional cost.

 

How the hell are we supposed to pay for hosting and domain now?

 

I just made the withdrawal as this is in effect from 29th onwards

 

what I can recommend to all members are email Farahad and paypal etc... and advice them to enable "Fast Cheque Delivery method" and Bank Wire transfers by SWIFT.
Most of people will not bother to pay for these options and we can use it to withdraw large sum to bring the cost low.

 

Try to avoid withdrawal now, unless you want to take some risk of your payment locked with paypal for 2 weeks or more.

 

Does Paypal sends Check in INR or USD ?

 

As soon as I read that announcement I withdrawed all my money through electronic transfer if it is working, I hope it will nt get stuck..

We got another issue from paypal once again

I don't know how many months we have to wait to recover this electronic fund transfer

 

Damn!!

2 things :

1. We can wait till paypal fixes his issues and activates the NEFT again. Dont thin, they will take more than a month for that. So, lets keep the funds at paypal and in the meantime, use our secure deposits in thew bank for daily life and official stuff.

2. I dont think, it wil stop us to pay out from our paypal. That sounds ridiculous.

 

I did the same thing.. The exchange rate is atleast above 45 now.. who knows by the time the problem gets resolved, it could go down.. not worth in relying too much on cheque withdrawal either if we have choice as Paypal sends by normal postal route which can be overly delayed or lost in transit.

Hope this gets resolved soon

Ok, Im going to ask all of my customers to add my bank account in XOOM and send it via XOOM.

Yes, they can't stop us at least till they implement the functionality programmatically (just like they did to discontinue CC withdrawals or to prevent personal payments to and from Indian accounts). I think that will be their next step once they restore NEFT.
