    If you really want to promote your website and want good Google rankings then don't bound yourself on one SEO activity. Google like links through different sources. So, you must consider different SEO activities like Directory submissions, Article submissions, social bookmarking, blog posting, blog commenting, squidoo lenses, Google knols, forum posting, yahoo answers etc.
