I was searching for a site where a newbie can get SEO Knowledge easily. While searching I found Bruce Clay site http://www.bruceclay.com, I was reading and found they have very well described each and every aspect of SEO in a simple language. I am sharing this, as lots of newbie are not aware of it. May be this would help them out.

I always liked SEOMoz's Whiteboard Fridays. Here is a link to the category on their blog. http://www.seomoz.org/blog/category/37
Wow, seriously thank you. I'm trying to seo my new wordpress site right now and this is immensely helpful.
I recommend Seomoz, but some of the posts can be high concept at first, but they do have the "beginners guide to seo" available for download. They have some great tools too.
A good free way to practice on-page SEO that you are learning is Squidoo and Hub Pages. It's where a lot of people start, then venture off to their own domains.
