Hi everybody, first of all let me tell you all that i have never installed WP myself. every time i try, i somehow f... it up. a couple of weeks ago, i had an idea to open a new travel guide, based on WP. i found somebody online who did for a couple of $. I found the theme, purchased a hosting plan and all. all he had to do was write me some articles and install it for me. The guy did almost everything, except 2 things ; - he did not add an Analytics plugin - on the homepage, there's a small paragraph "about us" with live text i've asked the joker numerous times to add the google plugin and explain how to change this text, but he stopped answering my emails and didn't do a damn thing. That "About us" text could be in any number of places such as the theme's options or settings (if there are any), it could be an edit of one of the theme files, it could be set up to display from a certain page url, or post tag. There is really no way to know unless someone here knew that exact theme or had access to the back end to see how it was set up. You are going to have to consult with the themes "Read Me', installation or instruction docs..if it has any. As far as installing the plug in, provided that you know your FTP information, you can do that from your Dashboard, just go to Plug Ins->Install New and search for the plug in that you are looking for and click "Install".

No Problem. It's really easy to track down (the "about us")..check your pages and posts to see if it's there as a default. If not then look for the themes settings either as a stand alone tab in your dashboard menu, or under Appearances..sometimes it's even under Settings, or Tools. If nothing is there, or no settings for the About Page, then it must be a file edit.
