Hi All, Some people have misconception that getting back links will help their site to come up top in searches but this is not true on very competitive keywords. No doubt off page support is required but onpage support is very necessary. Just Read the search engine guidelines and follow those guidelines to optimize your site and collect back links. Very important part of SEO campaign is keyword research, if you have choosen the right keywords as per business requirements and optimize your site on those keywords then you have done maximum of your part. I am Seo, for me it is easy but its very vast you just give ur 100% keeping on searching and update urself.
As we know that practice makes the man perfect... same is with SEO. If you will do more and more research and work in SEO, you will find it easy. All you have to do is practices and daily updates in SEO field. As Surat said, until you don't try you will always find it hard and boring.

Correct backlinking The rest is just tedious implementation when you do it yourself. if you see around all think they are seo expert. because they read some thing and have good amount of visitor on their site. it is not that much of easy if you wanna be a top webmaster. your can see some of the site which provide seo service. they do nothing, but still they are on the top chart. if you want to build brand image on the web. it is most important to be innovative everyday.
SEO is not hard but it is not easy, it is about doing things correctly. The problem is Google lately is making things more difficult for SEO companies to rank in a fast time frame.
It depends how much you want to learn. But this is my opinion: SEO - time consuming (to learn), after that it depends.
