Yahoo ranking and Google ranking. which is more important?

 

Google off course , about 70% of internet user use Google for searching. Having first page appearance on Google is grantee for tons of traffic. On the other hand Yahoo has less visitors as compare to Google, but still its important is not negligible.

 

Of course its gonna be Google, and just how Harry said most of the people use it mostly for searching, including myself. If you look at the rankings then Google is the most visited website at the moment, while Yahoo is falling behind against Youtube and now Facebook.

google is the first, and yahoo is the second.

 

I don't know if you know, but yahoo is merging with Bing and will soon be using the Bing algorithm for it's search feature.
Plus with popular services like iPhone, iPad and facebook now incorporating Bing search, it's fair to say that you should forget about yahoo and concentrate your efforts on Google and Bing, which will be the biggest 2 come January

 

I got to agree with you on this. At the moment Big G is still the most important avenue for organic search. But in future seems like going be facebook and bing

 

Google ranking is much important than any other search engine. if you get ranking in Google then probability of gaining ranking in other search engine are high.

 

offcourse Google, Maximum people use Google for searching and surfing so if you get ranking in Google then it will beneficial for you

 

i think google still the best untill now. well, if bing or yahoo could replace it, i guess some of us will still use word 'googling' when searching using yahoo or bing lol

 

without a doubt google is first , yahoo is great as well but there is always something missing....

 

About 80% of my traffic are from Google, yahoo is about 5% or lesser.

 

obvious google ranking bcoz most of people used google for search information and yahoo for mail and messenger.

most of the people are getting information through google search engine.so 90% traffic is provided only with google.in my opinion google ranking is better than yahoo raking.

Google ranking is more important. Normally if you rank good in Google, automatically you will be in good position in Yahoo.

I target both - google and yahoo. Preferred google but if comparing the conversion - Yahoo gives us good conversion.
