Setup a Squidoo Account and get a good traffic
Follow the instruction :
1. Register yourself in the Squidoo
2. Verify mail and follow these directions.
3. Login in to your account.
4. Click on "Make a new Lens" on the right hand side.
5. Answer the question what is your Lens about, means appropriate topic
6. Select a unique name. (i.e. normal web page name)
7. Under the menu select a topic; select a appropriate category which suits your lens
8. After your lens created. Enter 3 keywords for your Lens. But you can also change, if you want it.
9. Click continues...and your lens will be created.
10. Now add the content
11. Explain what your lens is about
12. Explain your bio.
13. Enter your Site or blog URL
14. Click continue
15. Then click Publish & view your Lens.
And enjoy the good traffic.

 

is squidoo still good for traffic, anyone had success?

Now a days squidoo is down this trick is no more work with driving traffic

 

Squidoo can get us backlinks, but not massive traffic.

 

I'm not sure about traffic but I am about to set up a new lens for a client so i would be interested in hearing about peoples success, is squidoo the best of these types of sites or is hubpages for example better?

But have read that squidoo lenses and hub pages are really great way to get good back links as well as good amount of Traffic for your website. So I am going to try these for my website hope that I will get both things for my site.

 

I have never had any luck with squidoo, but I have just starting with hubs a little over 2 months ago and I have seen a decent amount of traffic for the time it has been.

Squidoo is Do Follow. From where you got this information that Squidoo lenses are nofollow....

 

Whenever I create a lens and insert a link, my firefox SEO plugin highlights it as nofollow

 

Can you PM me one of your lenses so I can see if it is do/nofollow? I'm very curious now...

EDIT: nevermind, I went to squidoo and looked at some lenses, and they appear dofolow..sorry! I must have been doing something wrong, or maybe their just nofolow in the editor and thats where I got the misconception

 

yes, squidoo will give you backlinks

 

Squidoo Lens will not get traffic without backlinks. Websites don't just get traffic by themselves...wouldn't that be nice!!! I have 12 Squidoo Lens and they do make some money. They work great with affiliate products. Just remember to build good backlinks for SE traffic.

 

I am getting very good back links for my every post and may be some traffic too.

 

Although last week I created a lense in Squidoo but no such improvement or trend found so far.

 

Just back links from squidoo is not enough traffic. We should focus all link building activities.
