Spend 1 week on 20 backlinks or 1 week on 2 high quality backlinks

Ok. I have been told it is better to spend a week finding 2 HQ Do-Follow backlinks rather spend a week on getting 20 +. Now I do not know how to find HQ Backlinks so I just google for blogs and comment.

In anyone's experience what would be the best?

Also, I mix my commenting up buy posting on No follow and Do follow blogs to keep it natural.

    Any ideas?

I believe that every baklink has some sort of value. Some has less value and some has more value. So I would recommend you to keep building the backlinks from the sources available. Each link will contribute towards the improvement in your search engine rankings. Also, simultaneously keep searching for the authority websites from where you can get backlinks, there are different ways to acquire quality backlinks from quality website and I prefer guest blogging to acquire quality backlinks.

Ok thanks for the comment. I also do guest blogging to get my backlinks. How do I go about looking for authority sites? Is it just looking for certain PR's or somthing else?

Depends on the quality of the 20 links when compared to the 2 high quality links. At a certain PR the 20 links will outweigh the 2 links.

Well, I personally would spend the week on two quality backlinks. But, some would rather have more backlinks opposed to quality backlinks. Whatever you think is the right answer, I suppose.

Honestly the only way to get High PR backlinks is to buy them. I would spend 2 weeks building a bunch.

Go for high rank first, but high picking fruit may grow in rank in importance - and your link goes with it - so quality is important - but quantity can harvest some hidden treasures in the future.

It shouldn't take a week. Build not so high quality links on your way to finding the good ones.

A link is a link; no matter it is a do follow or not, or a high PR or not.

It is easy to identify authority websites. You can pick the websites of niche that you regularly check for references and other details.

2 HQ back link has more effect on your site than 200 spam links.so.if you can afford the 2 links, keep them existing
