Anyone using Snipsly as alternative to article directory

I read about Snipsly in Hubpages. The writer apparently uses Snipsly to provide backlink to his articles in Hubpages.
I sign up for Snipsly, and like it immediately:
    1. Adsense revenue sharing
    2. Instant posting, unless your English is so bad that moderation is needed
    3. minimum 3 sentences
    4. Affiliate links allow in text
    5. PR3

Is there anyone using Snipsly as an alternative to article directory?

looks like just a blog that allows others to register and just post their articles.... i dont see any benefit since this bog isnt targeted.

I've registered with them, but not written anything ... yet.

My view of hubs 3 years ago was that traffic was low ... and look where it is today!

Anything's worth a try out in my book. I'll see if I can muster the energy to write something for it later this week.

For me, the main component missing is snipsly doesn't appear to have a referral system.... having said that, 99% of my hubs income has been from my own efforts, so I guess for me I'd theoretically earn more for the same work. But, traffic and navigability are key.

I have been using it just for back links mainly, as I heard they index quickly. The rev share is nice bonus too and I like how the minimum is "at least 3 sentences"

I used them but stopped using them, they bring you nice black links/indexing.

They haven't provided me with much traffic, but I am not focusing on SEO a whole lot, and it's only been a few weeks for me.

I think that with any article site it can be tricky to get traffic at first, but if you hit it right you can get a lot of traffic and (hopefully) revenue. I know a lot of people who use the site only to backlink to their articles on other sites, but I don't get that because Snisply gives you 80% adsense revenue, which is way higher than you can get on other sites. I just write on snipsly and then work to promote those articles more, rather than using it as a bookmarking tool itself. I guess people can kind of use it different ways to suit their needs, though.

True, but the bad reviews are from a long time ago, right when the start was starting. I say it never hurts to give it a shot and see for yourself!
