How can I improve my PR

how can I improve the PR of http://mintuz.co.uk/blog ( cant give direct link because I don't have enough posts ) I have thought about getting rid of the web design section on the top level of the domain but will that hinder my results even worse. My website has been up for nearly a year but it is still a PR0 and I believe I have good content on my blog. Any advice would be nice thanks.

You need to have a lot of uniques per day for your PR to increase. Just because you have good content doens't affect your PR. Google PR system is based of a combination of unique visits, traffic flow and ctr. The more users interact with your site the better PR you will get.
