Hey guys, i have built a new theme (based on Twentyten) for my Wordpress Blog. You can see the new design here, Splurge:- http://techsplurge.com/ What do you think, does it look cool? Plus, Can you please answer some more of my questions:- 1) Should I expect people to share my articles? I am thinking to put a share toolbar on the left + There's A Facebook like button after the post. Are their positions ok? 2) Where should I put ads? I dont want to put many ads, just 2 image. i have put one in the sidebar (that Samsung printer one) and planning to add the other one between Post title and Content. What do you think? 3) Any suggestion? Thanks in Advance
The placement of the Samsung article is very good. I would place the next article on that same side perhaps under or above "Recently Popular". The only other thing that I would say is the you may have too many images or just say the site looks a little too busy. Either you can have the images on the same side of the screen or have less images.
That is just a sample ad, not a samsung post. By the way, i haven't put many images there, only those which were essential.
I love your design, but I think georgia font not match with the design (Sorry! , I just give an idea)
I like it, but its sort of strange that you have the top content and it's the same as the bottom two... Maybe have a most popular post section there instead?
your search result button is not in proper place, i think you should use a bit small font for your home page it is extra large.
I liked the simple and elegant design. You can work out on font a bit. The BIG FB, Twitter icons look cool and not awkward.
Looks pretty good. Basic, clean and easy to read. Not a lot of frills and thrills, but basically it is good theme. I like it.
I like the blog, but one thing that caught my eye was your logo. You have the android head in your banner. I suggest you remove it, it's copyright infringement. Like I said before though, I like the blog
