Can anyone provide a list of plugins they suggest for any WordPress site? It has been awhile since I did a site and I am wondering what plugins are considered the best to install. Thanks!

These are the ones I install on every client site:
    Akismet (comes with WP)
    WordPress Database Backup
    Subscribe to comments
    WPTouch
    WordPress Popular Posts
Hyper Cache ( though w3 cache is good also )
    Google XML Sitemaps
    Gravity Forms

I use Thesis, so plugins like AIO SEO, google analytics, and Fedburner feed replacement become redundant.

If you want more details on why I use those / don't use others, my recommended plugins list is a good read.

Every plugin stated above is great, but I really have second thoughts about cache plugins. Yes, they make the page load faster, but only for returning visitors. For new visitors, it will load very slowly

Another useful plugin besides all that has been listed is My Page Order. It'll make it easier for you to rearrange your pages when you have create them.
