Selling Selling the most stylish news website you've ever seen

I checked value estimators and there are values between $20,000 - $7,000 for my website, so I decided to call it $5000.

The website is brand new - 2 month-old. Custom designed by me.

It's a news website, updated by me and my team. I won't have time to continue with it, so I m going to sell it.

There were days with over $50 in revenues, so the potential is great.

 

Its a great looking site and i am interested,a couple of question what type of hosting will this run on regarding the bandwidth and storage and also what script does this run on is it a custom script which would need special coders to maintain it or is it a stock script that has been modified ???

 

it's currently hosted on hostgator (vps package - $50/month) . the bandwidth and disk space are enough. but you will need to move to a dedicated server after a month of daily news updates.. the traffic will break it down.

Can you provide proof of earning?

Where do you get the content? How much does it cost to buy it? (If we buy the site, how much would it cost to keep fresh content coming in)

 

We haven't bought content, we have just rewritten news all around the web. If you feel you can't update it daily, you may hire a writer to do this for you.

 

Please provide me with revenue proof. I think you're asking a little too much.

 

why is it expensive since you can get up to $1000/month very easily. If I had time, I would have kept if for myself, be sure.

not garbage, but pure traffic from google. alexa sucks, don't care about it. all i do care about is traffic = money.

this has nothing to do with a 25 post count and everything to do with questions about the validity of a $7,000 price for your site. If you're serious about selling a valid site please answer my questions:

I will answer this, even though you have no intention to bid on this site.

traffic - you can see the analytics reports (60 000 unique visitors)
writers - were not being paid, and won't write for you. if you actually buy the website, you can have them writing on it for one or two months.
earnings provided only to REALLY interested buyers

 

you are correct. I would not buy from someone not willing to provide proof of earnings.

 

There were a few guys offering me $2k and even though, I showed them my Adsense reports for June. [they looked interested to me]
