    This would also include any other forms of URLs that may throw up the same page www.domain.tld vs. domain.tld, rewritten URLs with old URLs with parameters.

    I also say that onpage optimisation is analysing the top 10 position and mimic their seo metrics so that you can learn what the algo likes about their sites.

    On page seo is the process of editing on the website like writing unique content, creating meta tags, create sitemap & robot.txt or using h1 to h6 tags on html coding.

    Canonical error-- When website opens in both version with www or without www it means there is a canonical error in the site. Website should be open in the only one version.

    Quite a random question. Onpage SEO means all efforts you make to boost search engine ranking from WITH IN the website itself. Via content, meta tagging etc. Redirects on the other hand, are basically re-routing your LINK to another link. These are used when you want people to avoid using a certain link to access your website.
