I am buying a new domain, which one is better: two-words.com or twowords.com?
    (both are available)

    Thanks!

two-words is better from an SEO perspective, twowords is more brandable. Buy both and 301 redirect the brandable one to the one with the hyphen.

My suggestion would be to go for the non-hyphenated domain only. IMO, hyphen in a domain provides very little or no help from the SEO perspective nowadays.

    if you can buy both

if not, go for the non-hyphenated version.

Otherwise what you'll find is spammers will sign the non-hypenated version up to get traffic from visitors who forget to insert the dash. spamers dislike hypens because they are never as successful.

Google has no problem parsing domain names, without hyphens. I read about a test someone did and created a domain like parishiltonsomethingsomethign.info, and put adsense on it. No where on the site did it mention paris hilton, yet the ads were showing for paris hilton stuff. Pretty good experiment.

You better buy one of them quick if you want to have this domain.

Definitely buy the one with no hyphen first. 2secondly buy .net domain of the same name no hypen. Then buy the hypened domain .com

Value of both .com and .net non hypened exceeds value of the hypened .com

You will also have just as much sucess in the search engine with a non hypened two word domain as you will with a hypened.

After you buy the .com and .net nonhypened pick up the hypened

usually when you buy domains you can get a discount if you get them all together. I know godaddy does.

Non-hyphenated domains will definitely make it easier for type in traffic.

yeah, i agree with the rest, i'd go with twowords.com... it's more 'proper' (my personal opinion)... ;)

but again, why not go for both and do a redirect from one to the other?
