    Hi everyone! I just want to ask if transferring my website to another hosting affect its SEO? I want to know before I do the transfer. :)

    Hello,

    Transferring should not affect transferring.
    Even though you will probably be changing the IP, I believe search engines and such use the domain name rather than the IP.

    I'm not really an SEO person, but I think it wont affect your site rankings if your site doesn't go down during the transfer process.
    For this, you need to make sure that all the files have been successfully copied to the new server and the site has the same url's as before. After confirming it, change the nameservers of your site but keep the older server online for atleast 2-3 days.

    Some people say that moving servers from one country to another does effect the SEO rankings, but I don't really know about this.
