    actually sitemap is an index of our website pages write. Its of 2 type html sitemap - is for user and xml sitemap is for search engines to crawl. It is very important to submit xml sitemap to google webmaster tool from there we get to know our site stat - from where traffic coming and all. Easy to understand.
