What is the best way to display a URL?

    Hi all

I am about to launch a new site, and for consistency purposes, I am trying to determine the best way to display my domain in the title and in articles.

    The url is www.racingjobs.com.au

Should I be displaying it as RacingJobs.com.au or Racingjobs.com.au

Does it make a difference which way I use, as far as marketing, branding and SEO is concerned?

    Cheers

    Jake

In your page title you should have "Racing Jobs", to optimize page content for people searching for "racing jobs".

In external articles and marketing you should use RacingJobs.com.au so people can read easily and also find your site.

When using your domain where someone is reading it, I'd use RacingJobs.com.au since it's easier to read. If you're talking about the format in links to your site, the case does not matter.

Agreed, I would use RacingJobs.com.au. It is descriptive and give the URL at the same time. Branding wise it is always good to be consistent so make sure once you pick a standard you stick to it. In terms of SEO, you need to split things out if you use it in a Heading (but of course you wouldnt use the URL in the heading anyway so that should be fine).

Use your keyword not your domain name.

This is the easiest way I've found to use my own domain name as an OpenID. There are other ways to do it but they've always given me far more trouble than they should. This service from MyOpenID is also an easy way to offer and administer OpenID accounts to other users of a particular website.

I think you should not put url in title that will not help you in SEO.

But if you want to put the url then i think RacingJobs.com.au is better regarding your brand recognition.

Thanks Guys, I am thinking of doing the following:

Meta Title: RacingJobs.com.au - Racing Jobs

    Graphical Page Header: RacingJobs.com.au

    Article Use: RacingJobs.com.au
