And their value in terms of dofollow backlinks is?

 

Good list, but I think signing up and bookmarking in top 10-20 sites is always better than doing it in 100s of websites. The most important sites where I have been getting my traffic and sales from are :

Facebook
Stumbleupon
Reddit
Digg
Google
Hacker News

 

Thanks for the list, didn't realize there were so many bookmarking sites. I'm just wondering if there is a way to submit too as many of these sites as possible with 1 click?

thanks for sharing this data...this is very usefull for me...By doing social bookmarking we will get banklinks to our site. This is one of the famous method of building backlinks to website.

I disagree. Unless you gain a prominent position for whatever reason on them, you just will have to share the linking power with the zillions of other users. A small SB site with adequate PR can still be very helpful, since you share the linking power with less users.

Thanks for the list, BUT if it is true that perhaps just 10% of those sites will bring you 90% of the traffic (I would believe it is more like 5% of those sites) then I would advise people against going through all of them unless you have nothing more important to do.

Yes I do realise you get backlinks and some of those sites are specialist etc, but Im suggesting it may be better to do that on sites that will bring more traffic then the bookmarking sites way down the list.
