Any experience with the HTML editor of CoffeeCup?

Can we compare it with Dreamweaver?

Price is affordable ($49) - more than a legit Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 ($600)

I'm not sure you can really compare the two products. I would say that if you're looking for a code editor based on price, go for a free one like Programmer's Notepad. I think that will probably do pretty much the same as CoffeeCup and save you $49.

Dreamweaver is a lot more complex. If you're just writing code by hand, it's probably not worth the price. But DW has a load of extra features, like code/design view and integration with other Adobe products that make it more than just a text editor.

So if it's just a code editor you need, go for something free, not DW.

    Hope that helps.

Thank you for your input ;)

The problem is that i've been used to Dreamweaver 4 WYSIWYG software for years.

I would like to get Dreamweaver CS5 now but it's quite expensive and i'm looking for an alternative solution.
