Difference between Link and Deeplink...?

I think there is no different

 

a link is a link in general and could mean a link to your home page example.com, a deep link is a link to an inner page example.com/deep.html

 

Deep links are the links that points to a specific page or image on a website, instead of that website's main or home page.

I think ALL links are effective. Obviously most sites and people focus on just linking to the main homepage, but getting deep links is probably essential if your keywords are very competitive.

deep link is backlink that not directed to homepage, but to inner pages.
If you can boost your inner page PR, so you will get high PR inner backlink.
Usually it will boost your main page

 

Link is referred to get return link to the main site however Deep link is the process which gives back link to internal pages of the website
