    i always try to use both of them to make it more interactive......some ince effect can only be possible on illustrator

    Adobe Illustrator and sometimes Corel,use illustrator since very fluid and same workflow like Photoshop,used corel way before,have cleaner pen curve controls.

    I use photoshop for simple stuff then load into illustrator for advance techniques and for vector saving whihc is a big deal in logo design need to scale withoput losing quality

    Inkscape + Gimp, they are both distributed under a free software license and make a good job. By the way, the important thing is get used with the software and make the most of your tools.

    I use Adobe illustrator and corel draw.
    AI can make vector log, so it will have infinite resolutions.
    I sometimes use Corel Draw because it is easy to use.

    I think too many people never hear about it but I'm using it to create not only logos and banner, I can also use it to create mini-site template and landing page, it called logo creator v5.2 it's fast than photoshop and more easy, plus you don't need to be pro to create something which will kill your costumers!
    I recommend to try it out!
