    SEO is still needed. Primarily off-page SEO, or link-building. Basically, search engines like Google doesn't trust what you say your website is about, but it is trusting what others are saying your website is about--aka, links.

    I agree with the school of thought which says there's way too much big money backing SEO. Google capitalization is nothing to sneeze at. Don't think that SEO is dying anytime soon.

    there are many irresponsible in the search engines who doing very wrong work on websites who have no knowledge about seo they are doing not very good things on internet that's why my brother you think that the seo is dead..!

    No, SEO is not cheating the system, it's just tweaking to allow the algorithm to associate your site with certain keywords more often.
