My Quest to Make $100 / Day From Scratch (And How You Can Too)

    Hey guys.

I'm not new to the forum, but somewhat new to posting.

I've been in IM for about 2 years now, and have had some pretty good success.

I see all of these posts with newbies that were in the EXACT same spot I was in for about 13 months, before I finally had my 'a-ha!' moment and started doing alright for myself.

To give back to the people that have helped me, and the newbies that don't know where to start, I've decided to start a thread chronicling me starting from scratch (no list, no website(s) to start) to finally reaching $100/day.

I know it's possible because I'm there now, and I'm going to do it all over again to hopefully inspire other people to 'take action' (I hate that cliche too) and so the same.

I will post my progress here, as well as at my blog.

Thanks, I hope this helps at least one person reach their goal.

    Mike

So what you will do? Affiliate marketing with PPC? It's quite the easiest and fastest way to make $100 a day.

Thanks guys. I plan on posting once per day here. I'm not sure if I can post the blog here or not yet since I've only posted once or twice, because I already have Days 1 - 3 up on the blog (I update it every day)

I don't want the thread deleted, so I won't post my blog address until I get confirmation.

It appears I'm not allowed a signature until I get to 10 posts. Once I get those, I will put the link in my sig.

    Thanks,

For those of you that wanted to see some of my progress here, I will try to post just once a week as not to overwhelm this thread. This is today's update that I posted on the blog. Enjoy, and keep the PM/email suggestions coming!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

    Short update today.

First of all, thanks for the people that suggested a ‘subscribe button.’ Done and done. :)

I finished Sniper #3 and added one page of content to Snipers #1 & #2.

Didn’t get a chance to do any backlinking today, as another one of my projects took up most of my time. I’d love to outsource the backlinking now, but that’s not what this project is all about. It’s about starting from scratch and building to that point…

No sales today. No movement in the rankings, either. Hopefully the backlinks get picked up soon. I’m not too worried about it, because at times Google can be slow. Hope they don’t hear me. ;)

    Earnings for today:

    CB Snipers: $0.00

    Earnings to date:

    CB Snipers: $53.96

    See ya’ll tomorrow,

    Mike

I'm in no way being narcissistic. Check out the blog if you want. It's just starting from grassroots and trying to show people that it's possible to make money online.

I don't understand why people feel the need to criticize everything. Nature of the beast I suppose.

Because I've seen dozens of these threads. They ALWAYS go down in flames. Usually because the thread starter fails miserably and stops posting and then newbies make retarded posts like "great idea - hope you succeed!" weeks after it's obvious that the thread starter is MIA.

    Day 6 already.

I don’t think I mentioned this before, but I won’t be updating on Sundays. That’s my day off to relax and have a few cold ones. :)

Anyway, the good news about building sites like this is that you often get sales when you are not actively promoting. I.E., I got a sale yesterday from Sniper #1 (which has jumped to to the #3 spot on Google after some of my backlinks got picked up!)

The competition for Sniper #1 is pretty weak, and I’m confident I can nab that top spot with a few more quality backlinks. Let’s hope so.

As far as the other Snipers go:

I added yet more content to Snipers #2 and #3. One post each. I’m finished adding content to the first site, as I feel that it has enough to rank #1, so just backlinks for that now.

As I write this, I’m taking a break from the 4th site, which is about halfway done. I plan on finishing that today and perhaps getting a few articles started for backlinks before the night is said and done.

Recap: 3 Sniper sites “completed” (still adding posts to #2 and #3), and the 4th one half done.

I may just concentrate on backlinking tomorrow, to try to get these sites as close to ‘finished’ as possible, so that they all start getting solid rankings (hopefully) and bringing in some money (then I can outsource the crappy backlinking).

    Earnings for today/yesterday:

    CB Snipers: $26.98

    Earnings to date:

    CB Snipers: $80.94

No refunds yet either. The product is very good for my first Sniper, and the refund % is fairly low, so I’m not too worried about it.

    See ya tomorrow,

    Mike

P.S. Keep the emails/PMs coming. I love hearing the suggestions you guys come up with. It’s definitely helping make this blog as helpful and informative as possible.

P.S.S. As for the question(s) I got about how much money I am putting into this project:

So far, just the cost of the domain names. Now, if you look around Google you can almost ALWAYS find a coupon code to get a great deal on a .com, .net, or .org. I actually bought this domain that you’re at now (mikenason.com) for only $0.99 with a coupon.

Just gotta look around. If you can’t find any coupons, just be prepared for pay about $10-$11 per domain, and around 8 bucks a month for hosting (I use Hostgator, which allows multiple domains per month for no extra cost)
