    You can use back up functionality in the cpanel to take back up.

    You can use BAM to just make a copy of most platforms and either use it for your own sandbox location or easily use it to copy the current platform/DB and pick it up and then push it out to a new hosting location: bamtastic.com You just have to add a few basic access details and then you can push-button migrate if needed.
